Dear colleagues,

Thank you for your interest in providing optical coverage of our
ORFEUS target(s). As you may already know, the Shuttle did not get off the
ground this weekend, and I understand that it is going to be a few days,
and perhaps a week, before they try again (something about explosive bolts
- its always something). Anyway, things are obviously on hold. I will
send another messsage when the launch is agian immanent and will reply to
each of you separately in the next mail message if you sent queries which
need a reply. Please note that at the moment we only have the nova-like
variable V3885 Sgr on the target list. It is our HOPE to add Z Cam and
AM Her, and a dwarf nova in outburst, if you becomes available. Perhaps
with some luck we will be able to get some nice data.

						Cheers,
						Chris Mauche
