Date: Thu, 3 Jun 93 7:25 GMT From: Guy M Hurst <GMH@ASTROPHYSICS.STARLINK.RUTHERFORD.AC.UK> Subject: Possible comet Dear Taichi, One of our observers has sent photos of the field of Nova Aql 1993 taken on May 28 at 00.15UT which appear to show a nebulous patch just a few minutes of arc north of the line of stars containing Nova Aql 1993. Did any of your photographers have shots taken that night showing any such object which I would judge would be about mag 9. No-one here seems to have recorded it so please do not circulate this too far as I suspect it is a false alarm but your help would be apprewciated, Regards, Guy
