Optical observations of the eclipses throughout this week and next are needed to follow the eclipse changes during the decline from outburst. High speed photometry is most desirable, but CCD photometry or spectra would also be useful. Due to its placement in the sky (RA =23 23 08.7; Dec = +18 24 58.5 epoch = 2000), IP Peg is only accessible for a short time at the end of the night. A finding chart is in the Downes and Shara atlas (PASP 105, 127, 1993). The eclipse times may be calculated from: eclipse = 2445615.4156 + 0.15820616E. The HST observations of IP Peg will take place at the following times: note that day 147 is may 27 UT. 147:08:57:26 - 147:09:44:11 147:20:12:06 - 147:20:58:51 148:07:26:46 - 148:08:13:31 150:01:12:35 - 150:01:59:20 For any further information, please contact: Paula Szkody (szkody@phast.phys.washington.edu") or Keith Horne (horne@stsci.edu")
