Amongst these is a photograph by Oliver Schneider taken on 1993 Mar 26/27: Start Mar 26 23.30UT End Mar 27 00.15UT Mean 1993 Mar 26.995UT 0.21-m reflector. Film: Kodak 2415 hypered. From: Bielefeld, Germany It does not appear that the supernova is visible although there may just be something at the extreme limit of the photograph. However I can see a star which appears to correspond to the mag 17 object referred to on IAUC 5737 by W. van Driel, some 50" north of Star C. Does anyone have an accurate magnitude for the magnitude 17 star and any other stars (mag 16-20) within about 20 arc minutes of the supernova please? At present the result is: 1993 Mar 26.995UT, [17 Guy M Hurst Editor, The Astronomer Tel/Fax: +44256471074
