Dear Gary,
We have little information on this star, too. A photographic finding
chart is provided in IBVS No. 2926 (McNaught, 1986). This article contains
reprouction of POSS O and will help you identifying the correct object.
The outburst record is just one which you mentioned, and none the more.
I have tried CCD photometry of the field and obtained V magnitude
sequences, but this is not at hand now. Neither photometric period nor
spectroscopic observation have been known to me. However, this star seems
to be one of the best candidates of SU UMa or WZ Sge type dwarf novae.
