Sir Dr. Hurst,
I have been privately communicated that superhumps were detected
from observations on Apr. 22 and Apr. 23 by Mr. Sekine at Dodaira.
Judging from the transferred outputs of the quick look program,
the best superhump period seems to be 89 minutes, or less likely
an alias 94 minutes. He states that the V magnitude on Apr. 23 was 12.3.
Following visual observations have been reported.
UT magnitude
1992 Apr. 22 14h27m mv = 11.8 (M. Yamada, Ishikawa)
Apr. 23 12h20m mv = 12.1 (M. Iida, Nagano)
23 -- a few CCD frames, not measured yet (S. Kiyota, Chiba)
Apr. 23 14h09m mv = 12.2 (M. Watanabe, Toyama)
Regards,
Taichi Kato
