[vsnet-history 29] observation of HV Vir (Kato)

(1992 April 23)

subject: observation of HV Vir

Dear Patrick,
My friend Yoshiyuki Sekine at Dodaira observed HV Vir with 0.91m +
multicolor photoelectric photometers from 22.490 to 22.656 UT. He states
that the variable has approximate V magnitude of 11.9. There may be some
hint of brightness modulation on the quick look display, but the data
have not been analysed by appropriate program to detect superhumps.
My observation at Ouda will start on May 1, until then the different
sort of apparatus is attached.

Visual observations have been reported as:
1992 Apr. 22 12h07m UT 11.8 Makoto Iida (Nagano)
          22 12 43 UT 11.8 Makoto Iida (Nagano)
          22 13 00 UT 11.7 Taichi Kato (Kyoto)
M. Iida also reports that AT Cnc is at standstill.

Regards,
Taichi Kato
