[vsnet-discovery-nova 162] V4744 Sgr precise astrometry
V4744 Sgr precise astrometry
I have performed a precise astrometry of V4744 Sgr with four
images taken by S. Kiyota and one image taken by P. Nelson. In
UCAC1 reference frame (60-70 stars), it gives:
17h47m21s.724 +/- 0s.003, -23o28'22".79 +/- 0".06 .

Even in the deepest DSS image (limiting Rmag about 21.0), no object
can be found within 5" of this position.
