Hi all,
I just made measurment of first night of my private
sky survey. I'm using 58mm photolens + ST-7E CCD.
I made total 88 frames (unfiltered 8s exp. each). I detected total
41819 stars from fields in Pup, CMa, Cmi, Mon, Lep,
Ori, Hya, Cnc, Leo and Sex.
The software which I'm using is Pixy 2 system by Seiichi Yoshida.
My first conclusions:
-the red stars are much brighter (the chip is very sensive in red?)
-few times software failed identification variable stars and ids faint
ones as bright etc.
-the limits in the fields are 12.1-10,2 but mostly 11.4 mag.
-total about 4000 variable observations but very high number of negatives
due software.
Anyone have the same conclusions or comments?
Best regards,
Maciej
