Hi Arno,
The GCVS main web site is at
http://vsnet.sai.msu.su/groups/cluster/gcvs/gcvs/iii/
and you can download the latest GCVS catalogue from there.
It was worth the hassle to download their text file and import it
into a database program. That way you can very quickly search on any;
the on-line searches are pretty slow.
