[vsnet-chat 5636] Henden sequences and charts online

Dear Observers,

I am pleased to announce the availability of nearly 450 variable star
charts, based on CCD photometry provided by Dr. Arne Henden, on the Sirius
Astronomy website.

These are essentially visual charts, however, text files containing the
photometric sequence (positions, magnitudes, color and error information)
for each star are also available online. CCD enthusiasts can now download
the charts and sequence files from the same pages on the web at:

http://joevp.20m.com/charts/henden/

We plan to have all the Henden/Sumner and Henden/Simonsen sequences
published in this format by January 2003, followed by hundreds of new and
revised sequences and charts for CVs, LPVs and EBs as reliable photometry
becomes available.
