Dear colleagues,
While researching revision catalogs, I found the positions of NSV
2473, NSV 11194 and CU Vul have been revised into different positions
in Williams, and pat2.srt or pat.srt.
NSV 2473
gcvs2000.all 053755.79 +083742.2
pat2.srt 053752.17 +083916.0
williams 053738.70 +083456.6
NSV 11194
gcvs2000.all 183950.51 +385749.7
pat2.srt 184019.110 +381951.98
williams 183950.69 +385901.4
CU Vul
gcvs2000.all 194834.6 +214008
pat.srt 194834.696 +213736.46
williams 194835.00 +214007.6
In these two cases, there are two stars with the same name. When we
observe those stars, which star should we report the magnitude data
with the variable star name?
The magnitude data of these stars may be confused in some database...
Best regards,
