Subject: comet C/2000 S5
Sorry for the bad English.
My name is Roberto Gorelli, I'm an amateur astronomer.
Some days ago in MPEC 2002-H41 it was annonced the
discovery of the comet C/2000 S5 by Swan instrument
of Soho satellite, the perielium of this comet was at the end
of October 2000, this comet was never observed from ground.
I calculated that in April 23, 2001, around 12-13 U.T.,
this comet must to be at 3-4 minutes from nucleus of M 31
and with a magnitude (calculated) of 17,5a, can I know if it
exist observations in VSNET of M 31 in this day? The M 31
was low in the morning.
Best greetings.
Roberto Gorelli
