From a point of informatic point of view, I would prefer (recommend)
to make an ASCII file first, and write an awk script to convert it into
the LaTeX or HTML (or something else) form. This procedure provides a much
higher degree of adaptability. I presume that either Brian or Timo should
heva been aware of this...

PS. Yoshida-san instead may propose a combination of XML and phyton or
somthing like that, though .. ;-)
