Dear Colleagues, I've been observing V446 Her, as part of the 2001 campaign presented to the VSNET by Nogami et al. But, you know, that variable is involved with a couple of stars, and while performing photometry with a normal equipment you have to measure those three stars (the variable + two normal objects) as a whole. Indeed, that is the strategy suggested by the campaign coordinators (they take care to remove the effect of the two stars), but I was wondering how one has to do in general, for example if she/he would like to report data to VSNET. Can she/he report the magnitude of the "complex" object (the three star in the case of V446 Her) or there is a better idea?
