My memory tells me that sometime during the last millennium I put together
a list of new Hipparcos variables with amplitudes of at least half a
magnitude, ie ones that could even be possibly followed by visual
observations, and that were either of uncertain variability type and/or
uncertain elements.

I think it was published in a copy of the BAAVSS circular, and was indeed
quite a short list.

However, I can't remember what happened to it actually, and whether it did
get printed or whether someone beat me to it, or whatever.

So, could anyone out there who has a full set of BAAVSS circulars from say
1997 to 1999 kindly check the contents pages of those circulars to see if
any of them contain an article on Hipparcos variables by one John Greaves,
and if there is one, kindly forward me the reference????

My memory is beginning to seriously leak yer know, and I've started to lose
track of the scribblings I did afore I went only a coupla years ago...
