Ornithology, paleontology and variable star science are not the only
disciplines that suffer from nomenclature confusion.
In horticulture we find ourselves reclassifying plants on a regular basis,
and the confusion created by the improper use of common names makes it very
difficult to interpret what plant we are actually discussing at times!
A rose by any other name...happens all the time.
