   The object is rather securely identified with the following 2MASS star.

2MASS 173642.178 -234916.19 (2000.0)  9.225  8.067  7.569

   Furthermore, there is a NSV star (NSV09220) even closer (but apparently
different) to Toni's suspected stellar image.

 or VIa: non-variable star with relatively cold dust at large
      distance, may be carbon-rich
