Dear all,
Following on from Bruce Sumner's note on the ID of V1316 Cyg, may
I bring to your attention a message posted to VSNET way back in 1996
concerning the ID of this suspected UGSU star (see below). At this
time, we were sure that our positive observations were indeed of
V1316 Cyg. Now it seems we have been observing the wrong star, which
makes Taichi's remarks below to be in error.
Which is the correct statement?
