I managed to get an unfiltered CCD photometry run on V1008 Her, during the night of July 30/31, 2000, using the CBA Belgium 0.35-m f/6.3 telescope and ST-7 CCD. The resulting light curve is flat, showing no periodic modulations. Another photometry run on Nov 2, 1999, also obtained at CBA Belgium, yielded a similar result. It seems more and more plausible that V1008 Her indeed is an UGSS type dwarf nova.
