Dr Kato is finding quite a few matchs twixt SRD stars and ROSAT sources.
Could anyone tell me whether red giants are convective or radiative at
the outermost layers just prior to the photosphere.
you know... ...have we got chromospherically active giants, or is some
superwind thwacking into previously chucked out circumstellar stuff
[noting that a lot of 'em are also IRAS sources]?
