[vsnet-chat 3135] EG UMa and NSV19335

EG UMa and NSV19335

Another case of noteworthy CV candidate - ROSAT identification.

  EG UMa:

GSC3834.241 121544.23 +523103.4 (2000.0) 13.20 1
USNO1425.07890847 121544.500 +523107.10 (2000.0) 12.7 14.2
121544.2 +523103 (2000.0) UMAEG * NL 13.0 13.87 B - - - R1/UMA

  ROSAT:

121544.8 +523114 (2000.0) 1RXS-F_J121544.9+523115 0.040 -0.26 -0.63

The identification looks secure. The ROSAT spectrum is soft enough,
consistent with the classification of a detached binary containing a
white dwarf.

Noteworthy object in the field = NSV 19335:

GSC3834.180 121539.18 +523908.8 (2000.0) 12.29 1
USNO1425.07890631 121538.832 +523908.69 (2000.0) 11.4 14.2
121539.1 +523908 (2000.0) NSV19335 LB 14.09 (1.) B -

  ROSAT:

121539.4 +523909 (2000.0) 1RXS_J121539.5+523910 0.273 -0.35 0.23

This star is almost certainly a flare star (or an emission-line M dwarf
with similar activity), as its spectrum M2Ve suggests.
