Hi All & Mati

The tables in data format for A+AS 121, 247 can be downloaded via :-

http://cdsarc.u-strasbg.fr/cats/J/A+AS/121/247/

whilst A+AS 99, 591 lives at:-

http://cdsarc.u-strasbg.fr/cats/J/A+AS/99/591/

the readme files are very important, as they are "mini-abstracts" as
well as format guidelines.

NOW, as for the Fehrenbach and Duflot papers:

A+AS 46, 13 and A+AS 48, 409 can be downloaded via the ADS articles
server at adsabs.harvard.edu . Download them as high res PDF files for
use with acrobat reader, which is usually easily available. Postscript
is available if you can cope with that.

BUT, as they say, you will find that these files are "electronic
photocopies" : ie each page has been scanned, and is stored as a graphic
image within the pdf/ps files [at least for articles of this vintage].

I can only suggest you download them, print them out at large size and
high resolution, and then [if you have the capability, which I for one
_don't_], scan and OCR them!

OCR on _numeric data_ is very, very dangerous, for how do you readily
recognise errors?! Therefore, you'll have to carefully proofread the
derived electronic files against the printouts.

This will leave you with all the data in electronic form, EXCEPT for the
A+AS _special_ series stuff: I've never been able to find a source for
these online.

That's the best I can come up with for this particular data... ...hope
it is some improvement.

Sideways : I note that the USNO derived colour for GSC 9169 1555 is
totally contradictory to the B-V you quote for the same object, Mati :
are you sure of the ID...?

John
