     Hah!  Yes, I remember looking at the Grothues and Gochermann papers
and deciding they were too much trouble for my photometry file given what
was necessary to identify the stars and that the stars involved are all
fairly bright (and I am looking to extend the sequences as faint possible
in order to provide calibration for survey plates).  Neither VizieR nor
the main Strasbourg catalogue bazaar have the older Fehrenbach material
on-line, so that looks like another (big) job for you, Mati.
     ANyway, thanks for the additional material---perhaps there is enough
photoelectric photometry buried in the literature for the LMC to take care
of practically all the brighter variables:  we just have to recover it!
