Name List 75 Variable Stars TDF (Greaves)

A new list of variables has sneaked out whilst I haven't been looking.

IBVS 4870 will announce the 75th Name List of Variable Stars from the
Sternberg Institute, details are at:-

with the relevant datafiles being available via:-

http://ftp.sai.msu.su/pub/groups/cluster/gcvs/gcvs/nl75/

Given the usual trend nowadays, this data will probably be incorporated
into the next GCVS 4.n update.

Guide 7 users can utilise this data directly by downloading from this
site the file 'table1.dat' and placing it in their Guide home directory,
along with the simple TDF file below.

Labelled stars drawn to magnitude at maximum [of passband] will appear
for fields smaller than 20 degrees, and right clicking on any one will
give information, with MORE INFO available.

All users should note that table2.dat at the above ftp site gives cross
ID details for these stars.

Cut and paste the following text shown _between_ the rows of -----------
below, and save it as an ascii text file called NL75var.tdf in your
Guide home directory along with the file table1.dat, and enjoy! It will
be called '75th Name List Variable Stars' in the Toggle User Datasets
Dialogue.  GOTO TDF will work as usual.

[NB the '~' symbol below is the 'tilda' or 'approximate' symbol.  Some
of the longer lines starting with this symbol may get wrapped on email
transferal.  _All_ long lines after 'mag 55 5' and before 'epoch 2000'
_must_ begin with a '~', so lack of this should highlight what, if
anything, has become wrapped and in need of correction].
