I'm afraid this announcement was what I have referred to as "was prevously claimed". In later communication (indirect, of course) in this year, I have heard that the discoverer was not confident of the existence of the fading X-ray counterpart. My memory may be wrong, but didn't the third X-ray look at the field again show the suspcted source at a low significance level (brightened)? Anyway, the evidence of the existence of the fading X-ray counterpart in this case is not overwhelming. Regards, Taichi Kato
