Do you suggest (gasp!) that the GRB community is
not Y2K-compliant?
Good question. I think we wait and see how the satellite
groups post their triggers. My guess is GRB 2000:0101.
Note also that we've been lucky so far that two bursts have
not occurred on the same day. Nomenclature is always so much fun.
By no means am I suggesting that interested parties not
attempt to observe an OT visually. I'm just stating that
I think the chances are so slim that I personally am not
going to give it a try.
