Dear Dr. Kato,

The AAVSO-charts of T Dra show both stars UY and T clearly, the d-chart even
has the note "Do not confuse T with UY, which is at magn. 10.7" (!)
Observers with binoculars should not observe at all these Mira-stars with 
companions. Other well-known examples are T Cas, o Cet (at minimum), U Cyg, 
S Del, S Lyn, and many others.
