During the course of my visual observations of EV Aqr (which have all
been negative), I have been recording variations in a nearby field
star. Following recent comments on vsnet-chat about the
classification and position of EV Aqr, I find that this suspect field
star may be EV Aqr itself.
GSC 0526 01562 was mentioned as possibly the true candidate for EV
Aqr, and this is the field star which I have noted to be variable -
or at least it's in the right position, as GUIDE 7 does not show this
GSC star although by typing in the number it takes you to the
position.
Although my light curve has large seasonal gaps and few data points
at this time, the amplitude I have recorded is 12.5-14.0. The light
curve itself can be viewed on my web page at...

Is this EV Aqr?
