Dear friends,
Another suspected variable star in Vulpecula:
I have found another new variable star in Vulpecula, in the same
region as the one reported some days ago (vsnet-chat 2042/vsnet-obs 21359).
Position: 19h08m54.339s, +22d03'36.06" (J2000.0, from USNO-A2.0).
USNO-A2.0 gives rmag = 14.7 and bmag = 18.5.
The following five images were checked:
POSS-E Red, Plate XE392, Epoch 1950.456, rmag 15.3
POSS-II Red, Plate XP593, Epoch 1991.530, rmag 16.0
POSS-II Red, Plate XP524, Epoch 1992.422, rmag 15.3
POSS-II Red, Plate XP592, Epoch 1993.489, rmag 15.1
Quick-V Northern, Plate N392, Epoch 1982.636, vmag fainter than 19.5.
The star is very faint on Plate N392, but it can probably be glimpsed
at vmag around 20.

Hans Bengtsson,
