Kato-san gave the correct reference for the finding chart for
CV Aqr.  The article that goes with the chart makes it fairly
certain that the star is correctly identified.  They say, in
part,
  "Miss Walker made the identifications in part from old records,
but she also examined the published position of each star on a
sufficiently large number of Harvard plates to prove the
variability of the star at that position."
  A BV image pair would at least give a clue as to the color
of the variable.
