Dear Nickolai and all,
I am so sorry that I have had no time to do further till now.
With the CfA image, I estimated the position of SN 1998ey as:
R.A. = 21h30m00.66, Decl. = +26o43'21".99,
using 37 USNO positions. The star positions on the image was processed
by IRAF/DAOFIND, and then converted to coordinates by newly-handmade
scripts. Typical error would be about 0".3.
Compared with IAUC value, the McGaha's positions are fairly consistent
with mine. SAI catalog should be take the McGaha's, I guess.
# How about the situation of SN 1999D and 1999ac :-)?
Sincerely Yours,
Hitoshi Yamaoka, Kyushu Univ., Japan
