[vsnet-chat 1674] Charts of U Scorpii

Dear colleagues,

I have prepared charts with V-magnitude sequences for this recurrent
nova. They are currently available at the following versions as GIF
and PostScript files.

* Field 120 arcminutes and limiting magnitude ~12.0.
* Field 45 arcminutes and limiting magnitude ~14.5.

These charts contains V-magnitude sequences, which are based on
accurate CCD-photometry by Arne Henden and photoelectric photometry
Barry Menzies, and data from the Hipparcos and Tycho catalogues.
The sequences were compiled by Bruce Sumner [vsnet-chat 1671] and
undersigned [vsnet 1777]. The charts include a dotted coordinate
grid with lines for every minute of RA and 15' of Dec for the 120'
chart, and every 20 seconds and 5' for the 45' chart. 

The charts (plus some information on the 1999 eruption of U Sco)
