Timo Kinnunen gave a cross-identification between some of the stars in my field
photometry for Var61 Her and those on the BAA VSS chart for the field. I find
it interesting that all objects brighter than 15.5 differ by 0.1mag, whereas
all objects fainter agree within statistical error. The chart photometry
reference just says 'VSNET'. Can someone tell me the actual source of the
photometry, and speculate on reason for the difference? A 0.1mag discrepancy
doesn't affect the visual observer, but I'm curious.
