According to Oosterhoff et al. (1967, Bull. astr. Inst. Nethl. suppl. ser.
67), V2323 Sgr = No. 55 object. They gave a classification of type M and
an epoch of JD 2433864. The commented: "Some tentative periods were found,
but a definite period could not be derived."
