Dear Dr. Semeniuk, Dear Dr. Olech, Thank you very much for your information on your SW UMa paper. Yes, we appreciated your paper soon it arrived at our library, and I have introduced your result at the Wyoming CV Conference as one of the best determined positive Pdot SU UMa systems, together with those we had found: V1028 Cyg, AL Com and HV Vir. Though we had independently noticed the positive Pdot in SW UMa on the 1996 April occasion, we have further succeeded in refining our result by using your very impressive observations. We hope the paper (Nogami et al.) should soon come out, as Nogami-san has announced in vsnet-alert. One of my concerens is whether SW UMa shows positive Pdot in every superoutburst or not. I have previous superhump observations in this system, and have obtained a tantalizing result. I hope the present presumable superouburst could provide an opportunity in studying this point. Another concern, aside from super-QPOs, is whether there has been any confirmed rebrightening in SW UMa. We also have tantalizing reports, but if this system totally lacks post-superoutburst rebrightenings, it is very exceptional among well-studied such short orbital period systems. Many previous superoutbursts of SW UMa were severely affected by the moonlight in their later stages, but I hope the present one would be free from this worry. Regards, Taichi Kato
