Dear Dr Kato,
In connection with the outgoing superoutburst of SW UMa we would like to
call your and VSNET readers attention that we performed an extensive
precise CCD R photometry of the object during its April 1996
superoutburst and obtained a clear evidence for the increase of the
superhump period. The results of our photometry were published in Acta
Astronomica Vol. 47 (1997) p. 201. The paper can be accessible also from
