According to Hinkle et al. 1993 (AJ 105, 1074), the spectroscopic conjunction of the suggested 756-day binary (inner binary) occurs JDconj = 2446643.655 + 756.0 * E (red giant in front). The conjunction times correspond to the following epochs. JD 24446644 1986 Jul. - Aug. 47400 1988 Aug. 48156 1990 Sep. 48912 1992 Oct. 49667 1994 Nov. 50423 1996 Dec. Looking back through visual observations from the AFOEV and VSOLJ records, I could only find possible hints of fadings in the latest two moments. CH Cyg showed a shallow minimum between 1994 Nov. and 1995 Jan.; in 1996 the star showed its historical minimum around July. The association of these visual fadings with eclipses still needs to be verified. Regards, Taichi Kato
