As a typical SS Cyg-type dwarf nova with a short outburst cycle length,
X Leo shows long and short (often alternating) outbursts.
"Typical" outburst durations (defined here periods brighter than 13.5)
estimated from recent vsnet-obs reports:
1997 Jan. 13 - 16 3 days
Jan. 30 - Feb. 5 6 days
Mar. 7 - 10 3 days
Mar. 19 - 21 2 days
Apr. 3 - 11 8 days
