Hi,
I support Fraser Farrell in not applying (anymore) magnitude
corrections for individual colour vision tendencies / sensitivities.
In my appreciation for all contributors to this discussion I would
like to recommend especially Stan Walker for his interesting and
comprehensive resume on the findings by RASNZ(?).
Coming back to my original query, I dare to stretch (again) the
importance of standardisation on v or on V for the magnitudes of
comparison stars used on charts for visual observers.
Maybe something to be added to the agenda for Sion before we
all start deriving 'wild' sequences from the Hipparchos pool of
data.
Regards,
berto Monard
