Paying special attention to the current bright (brightest since 1992?)
maximum of Mira, serveral VSOLJ observers have reported a noticeable
difference between comparison stars alpha Cet (V=2.53) and beta Ari
(V=2.64) -- alpha Cet was reported far brighter (~0.4 mag?) than indicated
on the chart. How the readers think about this finding?
