Arne ------------ I agree with Kiyota-san; the star marked on the AAVSO G scale chart is incorrect. The coordinates of V4334 Sgr are: 17:52:32.69 -17:41:07.7 J2000 The coordinates/magnitude of the G-scale chart star are: 17:52:32.10 -17:41:05.3 J2000 V=17.05 (B-V) = 2.24 The real V4334 Sgr is much fainter than my 2min exposure limit of V~19. I've placed a centered 3x3arcmin extraction of a V-band image taken 020506 at ftp://ftp.nofs.navy.mil/pub/outgoing/aah/temp/v4334v.jpg A good finding chart, though only 40x40arcsec in size(!) can be found in Duerbeck et al., 2000, AJ 119, 2360.
