[vsnet-campaign 1053] Re: [vsnet-superoutburst 570] WZ Sge: emergence of true superhumps?

Dear Colleagues,

Scrive Taichi Kato <tkato@kusastro.kyoto-u.ac.jp>:

As in VSNET-alert 6163, I reported, on Aug. 01.0 UT, a
period candidate of 0.0568d, based on a single run, in good
agreement with the period now emerged from the latest runs.
So, it could well be that the signal actually started to be
there since the beginning of Aug. 01 or few hours earlier.
Also, I received a dataset by B. Martin, following mine
commented in vsnet-alert 6163: combing them, with a coverage
from JD *122.31 to *122.94 I get a period candidate of
0.05679d, this basically confirming both my previous finding
and what reported now by Dr. Kato (the cited message above).

I look forward to seeing what will happen in the incoming
hours.

Regards,
Gianluca Masi
