V1141 Aql outburst As reported by Rod Stubbings, the (still poorly studied) SU UMa-type dwarf nova V1141 Aql is undergoing an outburst. The object was observed in superoutburst (at about mag 15.0) in 1999 October, the first time when superhumps were detected. Since the present outburst, if it turns out to be a superoutburst, would provide a better opportunity to make long time-series. The object is selected as the VSNET campaign program stars, and we encourage intensive time-series photometry. Please note there is an immediate star which may somewhat affect the photometric quality. Please report your progress and summary of observations to vsnet-campaign-dn, and news to vsnet-alert and/or vsnet-campaign. YYYYMMDD(UT) mag observer 20000821.553 <150 (R.
