Simonsen on Aug 12th, I conducted unfiltered CCD photometry sessions on this object at CBA Belgium Observatory, using the 0.35-m f/6.3 telescope and ST-7 CCD. Observations were done on August 12/13, 2000, for a total of 4.0 hours, and on August 13/14 for a total of 2.9 hours.

Previous CCD photometry on this object at CBA Belgium Observatory, during the December 1999 outburst, also showed irregular, small amplitude modulations. Large-amplitude light variations are clearly absent.

To me the outburst behaviour of LX And appears to be atypical for a SU UMa-type
dwarf nova, but more characteristic for a UGSS (or possibly UGZ) star.
