[vsnet-campaign 368] Re: V446 Her observing campaign
Dear colleagues,
As B. Gaensicke announced in vsnet-campaign 325 (vsnet-alert
5074), the V446 Her campaign from July 7 was started (through
the end of September). But we have received very few observations
since then. The faintness of V446 Her (V= ~15.2-18.8) may have
observers hesitate to join this campaign. However, we would say,
just TRY it! The scientific meaning is very clear and promissing,
as stated in the VSNET articles and at
http://vsnet.uni-sw.gwdg.de/~boris/outgoing/V446Her/ .
Negative observations, for instance, <17.0, are also useful.
We strongly encourage observers to contribute to this project.
Let's clarify the physics of post novae!
