Below are some further pre-outburst observations, based on inspection of my CCD archives :
20000612.898 UT <165C (T. Vanmunster, 0.35-m f/6.3 telescope and ST7 CCD)
20000616.890 UT <156C (T. Vanmunster)
20000619.909 UT <156C (T. Vanmunster)
[Between June 19th and June 26th, I spent a few nights in Finland where, apart from the mid-summernight sun, no other stars could be seen, and definitely not RXJ1450.5+6403]
