[vsnet-campaign 253] XTE J1118+480 variation during JD 2451710 - 2451720

XTE J1118+480 variation during JD 2451710 - 2451720

VSNET XTE J1118+480 collaboration team yielded 1270 points of
the CCD time-series photometry during JD 2451710 - 2451720.
Using PDM for period analysis, the best candidate of the period of
0.1701(3) d is calculated. The average light curve shows complicated
features mainly due to the small sample number. The bad weather also make
the errorbars larger. We can see some possible feature not ever seen,
that is, the smaller amplitude of the hump and the double peak-like
feature around the top of humps, however we cannot discard the possibility
that the features are only the effect of noise.

The new light curves will be seen at web soon.
The object is still bright and the humps are prominent.
More observations are encouraged.
