Tonny's new observations apparently confirm the suggestion. While the
present outburst would not seem to me a high-priority target to the general
VSNET campaign members, it might provide an opportunity to investigate
short-term variability of long-period SS Cyg stars. We did over several
targets, and usually obtained no conspicuous periodicity.
