Dear colleagues, I had a few hours of CCD coverage on V493 Lyr on June 07/08, 2000, using the 0.35-m f/6.3 telescope and ST-7 CCD of CBA Belgium Observatory. The resulting light curve is extremely flat, showing no variability and definitely no superhump structure, which doesn't exclude of course the development of superhumps over the next days. Best regards, Tonny Vanmunster CBA Belgium Observatory
